The ANRE has approved the rules for issuing Green Certificates

The National Authority for the Regulation in the Energy Sector (ANRE) has approved the regulation for the issuing of Green Certificates, which will be issued to renewable energy producers, according to an emergency ordinance recently published by the Government.
According to the new Regulation, which was published yesterday in the Romanian Official Gazette (MO), Transelectrica will revise the procedure for the issuing of green certificates.
The new regulations, which have been awaited for more than two years by investors in the industry, completes the Law 220/2008, which sets the regime for promoting the production of energy using renewable energy sources.
