Entrepreneurship has no gender, says Sorana Mantho, Head of Corporate Affairs at Philip Morris Romania and Bulgaria, who thinks that the recipe of success in business is that of "common sense, which any professional applies in his profession".

Sorana Mantho told us: "Entrepreneurship is a state of mind. My career, which began through an entrepreneurial, somewhat natural foray into the judicial sector, has trained me and prepared me for the challenges of corporate live which I opted for later. The path can be successfully followed both ways especially when one joins a company, which, as is the case of Philip Morris, has a complex structure, which encourages inside it, entrepreneurial spirit. Every day I exercise the courage of making decisions, the power to motivate and self-motivate.

Through the programs we are developing inside the company, intended to reward entrepreneurial spirit, my colleagues are incentivized to bring creativity into our organizational structure. The entrepreneurial approach is part of the philosophy of our company".

There are things which we do well because we believe in them and things that we do less so, perhaps because we don't have enough information and maybe we are not very well prepared, she says.

Mrs. Mantho said that women's do have the ability to develop their business skills and creativity, and added that those that want to join the business world should take the opportunity they are given.

Sorana Mantho mentioned that Philip Morris gets involved in supporting the domestic business sector, as one of the company's lines of business in the coming period will be getting a lot closer to female entrepreneurship, "to the women's involvement in every day life, in the public life and in the private sector".
