The responsibility for the preservation of real estate architectural landmarks which have proven their value over time lies, first of all, with those that believe in them, says Florin Vlad, the president of architectural restoration company "Vlad Group". In his opinion, the current manner of approaching this subject is mistaken, and it stems from lack of faith.
"Who does Bucharest belong to? Ourselves! Who is responsible for it being a city that we live well in? Us first of all, not the mayor", Mr. Vlad says.
As a result, the representative of "Vlad Group" considers that the way of approaching that issue needs to change: "let's build together", not wait for the authorities to get involved.
According to Mr. Vlad, the market for the renovation and rehabilitation of old homes is on a rising trend, as a significant increase in the volume of work in the sector is being seen.
