In the fall, themed fairs are counted in the country's major cities to the delight of those who wish to socialize and connect with certain traditions. The (b)oyar fair, which gathers craftsmen, artisans, and producers from all over the country, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant. According to the institution: "Admission is free, and our fair has gathered craftsmen, artisans, and producers from all corners of the country. You will be able to haggle at your leisure, directly from first-hand producers, traditional dishes, sausages, and cheeses from areas known for the quality of products resulting from sheep breeding, such as Sibiu or Braşov. You will indulge in fruits, cakes, and honey, and if you are looking for a gift, wooden and woolen items, as well as knitted dolls and sheep, will surely delight you!" On Saturday, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, "presentations and discussions on various projects" of the partners of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant will be organized. "We will talk with them about the place of sheep in ecotourism in the Transylvanian hills, quality schemes, or the connection between cheese from anywhere and the Sibiu bell, but also about how we can together build Romania with good taste," the source specifies. The event is organized as part of the cultural project "PĂSTORIT 2.1. OAIA HAI-HUI," carried out from February to November 2023, with the financial support of the National Cultural Fund Administration.
The museum of the peasant hosts a (b)oyar-themed fair.
