The Green Photovoltaic House program is financed with 2 billion lei and the applications will be able to be submitted during this month, said Mircea Fechet, the Minister of the Environment, Water and Forests, during a press conference held on Friday together with Laurentiu-Adrian Neculaescu, the president of the Administration Environment Fund.
Mircea Fechet stated: "The novelty of this year's program is related to the amount of the financed amount. On the one hand, we are increasing the funding from the AFM from 20,000 lei to 30,000 lei. On the other hand, for the first time we will also finance accumulators, electrical energy storage units. I have also tested a scenario where by 13:00 one day you already manage to charge your batteries, then, during the rest of the day, you produce for your own consumption or give electricity to the network, then during the night you you can use the energy stored in your own batteries. This means even more energy independence for the home in question and this means even lower bills for the Romanians who benefit from such programs. The system starts from a minimum of 3 kilowatts per hour. We will finance each region separately, just as we will finance, as last year, the worship units. We will have a separate session for the buildings intended for living space for the clerical staff or the building intended for the space where religious services are celebrated".
Laurentiu Neculaescu, the head of the AFM, said: "We have not changed the participation rules compared to the last session. There will be the same minimum documents for enrolling in the program, namely: identity card, tax certificates - both from Local Taxes and Taxes and from the Consolidated Budget - from which it can be concluded that the natural person has no debts and the land deed extract . The application through which registrations will be made has remained the same since last year. We had very good feedback, the app was easy to use and worked very well. The difference is that this year we will no longer allow three registration days for each region. The registrations will be done in one day for each region because we noticed, since last year, that the money was used up in a few minutes".
According to him, the calendar for this year's session will start on September 6, when the registration of installers will start and a new accreditation session will be opened for new companies that want to participate in the Casa Verde program. The head of the AFM mentioned that the companies that were accredited last year for this program still remain accredited if they want to participate in this year's session as well. The final list of accredited installers will be published on the AFM website around November 1.
Until then, the registration of natural persons will take place, which will be carried out between September 27 and October 9. After completing the registrations, natural persons will choose their installers from the list published by the Environment Fund Administration.
According to official estimates, approximately 67,000 applicants will benefit from the total allocation of 2 billion lei for the Casa Verde Photovoltaic program, which means that a total number of 200,000 families will be reached who have benefited, over the course of several years, from this support scheme.
