EnglishThe Romanian Securities Commission (CNVM) yesterday extended until May 15th the deadline by which the Proprietatea Fund was expected to file the documentation needed to register with the Commission, CNVM Commissioner Bogdan Chetreanu said for BURSA. The decision of the Commission was made at the request of the management of the Fund, as the deadline for submitting the documentation had expired in the beginning of April.
On March 25th, the Proprietatea fund had submitted part of the documentation needed for the registration of a so-called special type of Collective Investment Body, in the form of a closed-end investment fund.
Some of the documents that the Fund provided to the Commission included the evaluation of the holdings the Fund has in various companies, the management contract that the Fund concluded with Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited, the Articles of Incorporation of the Fund and the decision of the General Shareholders" Meeting by which the Articles of Incorporation was approved in March 2008.
