Former presidential advisor Bogdan Drăgoi considers that the draft Fiscal Code, put up for debate by the Minister of Finance, is the best project for the time when the current governing party will be in the opposition.
He argued: "Because they've raised the bar very high for the future government, regardless of what it may be. I saw that the government has announced that it wants to eliminate the special construction tax and the so-called 7 cents excise, even if they have a different name for it, to stimulate economic growth. Following this reasoning, that means that in the past, when they have introduced these taxes, they have hampered economic growth. This is exactly what we, in the presidency used to say".
Bogdan Drăgoi served as an advisor to president Traian Băsescu, between May 2012 - December 2014, after a short stint as finance minister, between February and May 2012. He will be running for a seat on the Board of Directors of SIF Banat Crişana, in the elections scheduled for March 2nd, 2014.
