EnglishSteel pipe manufacturer TMK Artrom - Slatina has taken a 1-year 4.5 million EUR loan from Trade House TMK Closed Joint Stock Company Russia in order to secure operating capital. Both companies are controlled by the Russian steel giant TMK. The lender did not request any collateral and accepted a 10% annual interest rate. TMK"s presence in Romania also includes Combinatul Siderurgic Resita (Resita Steel Works). Pipes for oil and gas transportation account for half of the Russian group"s annual production.
