TMK ARTROM - Slatina, currently the second largest European manufacturer of mechanical pipes and hydraulic cylinders for the automotive industry, Concluded last year with an overall production of 200,000 tons, equal to some 22% of the EU market.
The target for this year is that the output of ARTROM - Slatina exceed 25% of the EU market, thus making the company the EU leader on this market. ARTROM currently exports 80% of the output, mainly to the EU, the US and Canada. ARTROM was acquired by TMK in 2001, when the annual production was 26,000 tons and the capacity was 60,000 tons. The current capacity of 200,000 tons is the result of a 53.2 million USD investment program by TMK.
