EnglishTomis Development will spend 140 million EUR to build a residential compound of 1,250 apartments and 47 villas near Constanta. The project will be finished in 2011, according to Tomis Plus Constanta Marketing Manager Eduart Ehsichiam. The 129,000 sq.m. compound is located near the Mihai Kogalniceanu Airport and will have its own kindergarten, school, playgrounds, restaurants, swimming pool and 1,448 parking spaces. A first batch of 37 buildings and 47 villas will be finished by May 2009.
Project manager Lucia Neacsu said the turnover had reached 10 million EUR, whereas the price of the future homes was 800 EUR / sq.m. not including VAT. A studio of 64 sq.m. is sold for up to 63,000 EUR, two-room apartments measuring between 65 and 95 sq.m. sell for up to 120,000 EUR whereas three-room apartments of up to 115 sq.m. come with a price tag of 150,000 EUR.
