Turnover of Braşov company "Roman" dropped 80.6% y/y compared to H1 2098, from 93.52 million lei to 18.11 million lei. The company"s revenues shrank 50%, from 80.05 million lei to 40.88 million lei, whereas expenses only dropped by 49%, from 79.19 million lei to 40.43 million lei. This caused the company"s net profit to drop from 861,755 lei to 442,597 lei.
The management of the company last week announced it would increase the company"s share capital by 6.24 million lei in cash, in order to keep the commitments made through the program for the restructuring of the company concluded in 2003 between the Authority for State Assets Recovery and ProRoman, which acquired the majority stake in the company. Following this increase, the company will have a share capital of 301.4 million lei.
Roman Braşov currently has a share capital of 295.16 million lei, divided into 118 million shares, with a face value of 2.50 lei. The company"s majority shareholder is Pro Roman Braşov SA, which holds 91.49% of the company.
