The Council of the County of Cluj and the town of Feleacul have set up a partnership for the construction of two new industrial parks called Tetarom IV and Tetarom V. According to the press release sent to our editors, the parks will be built on two plots of land with a total surface of 185 hectares.
The creation of a Industrial Logistic Park, which spans a surface of approximately 85 hectares is around 11 million Euros. The plan is to fund the project through the Regional Operational Program (POR), which would cover 50% of the investment, whereas the Council of the County of Cluj would supply the rest of the needed funds.
The Solar Panel Electricity Production Park is expected to cost approximately 100 million Euros for an area of around 100 hectares, with an installed power of approximately 30 MWh. The generated energy would be consumed by the Tetarom Industrial Parks, and the surplus would be distributed through the national grid. The plan for this project is to attract an investor fro the creation of a public-private partnership.
The chairman of the Council of the County of Cluj, said yesterday in a conference: "These areas provided for the construction of industrial parks are located in the proximity of the beltway of the city of Cluj Napoca and of the route of the Transilvania highway. They are 2 km away from the DN1 national road and 4 km from the E60 road, and within 15-20 minutes from the Apahida junction, which is also near the Cluj International Airport. These locations are perfect in every respect and I am happy that we have successfully reached an agreement with the Feleacu commune, with which we have had a great cooperation in the past on other projects, and which now have the opportunity to re-enter the Metropolitan area on this occasion".
