UBM, an Austrian-based real estate developer, has finalized the second phase of the logistic and light industry park in Chitila. Located on the Bucharest Ring Road, in the north-western part of the city, near DN1 and Highway A1 (Pitesti), the Chitila Logistic Park is conveniently placed in the logistic, distribution and industrial part of Bucharest. The 35 million EUR project totals some 45,000 square meter of industrial and office space.

The Chitila Logistic Park (CLP) is developed by UBM in partnership with the Romanian-based real-estate agency Metropola Imobiliar. The first phase was launched last summer and comprises 16,000 square meters, which is currently 100% rented to Romanian and international companies such as SCHENKER, RTC (Be Proffice) and MONTERO.

The second phase of the project was started on 1 April 2009 and comprises more than 22,000 square meters, of which 75% has already been rented. The final phase of the project will deliver an additional 7,000 square meters of industrial and office space, which can be fully customized to meet the tenants" expectations. The delivery is scheduled for the second half of 2009.
