Insurer "Uniqa" created "The Damages Center", a new structure intended to streamline the entire system for solving insurance claims, according to a press release by the company.

According to "Uniqa" officials, the new structure operates as part of the Claims Department, and is intended to help reduce the delays for the review and settlement of claims.

"Uniqa" also created the "Contract Management Center" as part of the project "Sales management", which is aimed at optimizing the internal handling of contracts.

Both projects are part of a wide ranging process of integration and alignment to the standards of Uniqa Group.

The implementation of the new structures will be accomplished through the launch of two trial projects, one for sales, and one for claims, and several branches will be involved in the testing.

"Uniqa" Group Austria is one of the largest insurance groups in Central Europe. Last year, the company had EUR 5.825 billion Euros in gross subscribed premiums, and posted a profit of EUR 90 million.
