UPRUC CTR Făgăraş intends to increase its share capital by 2.639 million lei, from 659.997 lei to 3.229 million lei. The increase will be performed by issuing 1,055,820 shares with a face value of 2.5 lei, by using reserves created from the profit of 2007 and 2008. The decision will be made in a meeting of shareholders scheduled for next month.
The company is controlled by Nuclear Montaj SA Bucharest, which holds a 63.39% stake, whereas SIF Transilvania has a stake of 32.47%, and owners of vouchers acquired during the Mass Privatization Program have 4.12%. UPRUC CTR is a spin-off of UPRUC Făgăraş, and was privatized in 2003, when NuclearMontaj paid 9.515 billion of ROL (951500 RON) for the majority interest.
