EnglishA delegation of eleven U.S. businesses with expertise in the nuclear power industry visited Romania"s Cernavoda Nuclear Plant yesterday. The delegation, organized and led by the Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy, is in Romania to introduce its capabilities to technical staff of Nuclearelectrica and Energonuclear. According to a press release to BURSA, the U.S. companies are exploring opportunities to participate in the construction of Reactors 3 and 4 at Cernavoda, as well as future construction of a new nuclear power plant, whose location is to be decided by the Government. The delegation represents AMEC, Autodesk, Babcock and Wilcox, CH2M Hill, Froehling and Robertson, Hill International, Honeywell, Mathey Dearman, NuScale Power, Trax International and Westinghouse.
