"VAE Apcarom" Buzău (symbol:APC) has changed its name to "voestalpine VAE Apcarom", making it part of the international group "voestalpine AG Austria", according to a press release sent yesterday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Voestalpine, the Austrian metallurgical company, owns, through its intermediary "Vae Gmbh Viena Aut", 92.91% of the shares of the Romanian company.
The company, which specializes in the manufactuing of rolling stock, saw its sales increase 26% in the first nine months of the year, from 51.6 million lei to 65.1 million lei, whereas the company's net profit climbed 8%, from 4.8 million lei to 5.2 million lei.
"Voestalpine Vae Apcarom" has a share capital of 7.379 million lei, divided into shares with a face value of 0.1 lei.
