Pedagogy is constantly fouled in domestic football. When this is done by anonymous losers the explanations come easier, when it comes to former or current very good footballers with serious careers, including in western football, the excuses are more difficult. Former international Dorinel Munteanu manages to turn left into right with incredible nonchalance as a successful coach. His football career (player-coach) is beyond any discussion. However, his diplomatic-pedagogical qualities are debatable. In the last few days, there is a lot of discussion about how the coach of Oţelu Galati warned a player (he grabbed him by the collar and started roughing him). Naturally, people appeared who drew attention to his rude approach, unnaturally, the supporters of his methods also appeared, who have the classic argument "that's how it was done in our time too". At the beginning of the year, the same Dorinel Munteanu had a racist slip towards the supporters of the Rapid Bucharest team, and the way he explained his statements showed that he has a real problem in understanding the current sensitivities of society. He came up with explanations even now and it is obvious that Dorinel Munteanu lives in a parallel world, frozen at the end of the 70s of the last century. Far from regretting her exit, she has arguments in her favor, in addition, she found a former national team colleague (coach Florin Bratu) to support her because he stands out for the neat way he appears in TV shows. Sports lovers in our country know very well that success does not justify any action, and the glorious story of Romanian gymnastics is full of sad events, with educated/trained athletes with a very high dose of violence.

Why are methods that we consider unqualified in education still acceptable in sport? How many people would accept being shaken by the collar by their bosses at work? Dorinele Munteanu (he is not the only one) needs a lot of help to better understand the world he lives in so that he can decently continue his career as a football coach. Otherwise, sooner or later it will definitely come to the fore.
