The management of "Ves" Sighişoara (stock symbol: VESY) suggests a 0,0030 lei/share dividend for 2008, according to the notice to attend the General Shareholder"s assembly which will be held in the beginning of April.
The company"s managers want to pay the dividends gradually, starting in August, according to the funds that will available for this purpose, as the company does not wish to resort to bank loans.
The last time the company paid dividends was in 2002, when the dividend paid to individual shareholders was 0.0114 lei, according to information found on the site of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
In April, shareholders of "Ves" will have to reach a decision on the share capital increase by 4.3 million lei, to 13.63 million lei, which will require subscriptions in cash and by issuing 43 million shares. The face value of the shares that will be issued will be 0.1 lei, according to the communiqué the company sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange yesterday.
"Ves" Sighişoara has a market value of 5.85 million lei, according to the average price of 0.0628 lei/share of yesterday"s trading session. According to the latest stock market reports, Bucur Idifta holds a 11.54% stake in the company.
