The General Assembly of Shareholders of Viromet Victoria has decided to delist the company off the Rasdaq section of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The majority shareholder Ioan Niculae, whose company Interagro holds 95.89% of Viromet, has decided to pay minority shareholders a price of 3.51 lei/share.
Ioan Niculae will acquire the remaining 776,226 shares for 2.72 million lei, after which the company will be turned into a closed company.
Viromet has a share capital of 47.27 million lei, divided into 18.91 million shares, with a face value of 2.50 lei. Viromet Victoria last year had losses of 15.45 million lei, (4.2 million Euros), compared to a profit of 2.54 million lei in 2007. Turnover of Viromet last year amounted to 121.08 million lei (32.9 million Euros), down 16% y/y.
