EnglishShareholders in Volksbank Romania have authorized a share capital increase by 36 million RON from 341,100,000 RON to 377,100,000 RON through the issuance of new shares as follows: 270,000,000 ordinary shares with a face value of 0.1 RON and 90,000,000 preferential shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. The majority shareholder, Volksbank International AG fully subscribed all the new shares.
The share issuance was accompanied by an issuance premium of 144,000,000 RON plus the existing premium of 521,610,000 RON dated 01. January 2008. Therefore, the overall value of issuance premiums reached 665,610,000 RON. Following, the capital increase, Volksbank International AG holds 99.0522%, followed by Banca Popolare di Vicenza (0.4739%) and EM.RO Popolare S.p.A (0.4739%). Volksbank Romania has quite a high capitalization of 1,042,710,000 RON.
