EnglishCeramics factory Vulturul SA - Comarnic (RASDAQ:VULT) has asked shareholders to approve a share capital increase by 8.08 million RON to 16.16 million RON (4.88 million EUR) through a capital injection. If the motion carries, the factory will issue 3.23 million shares with a face value of 2.5 RON. Existing shareholders will be able to subscribe one new share for each existing share. Shareholders will convene on October 10th to make a decision.
The company concluded 2006 with a face value of 6.74 million RON, down by 23.6% y/y and a net profit of 675,356 RON, up from losses of 1.49 million RON in 2005. The ceramics factory is controlled by Catalin Chelu wit 52.56%, followed by SIF Muntenia (SIF4) with 32.96%.
