You only listen to us when we"re dead ... sometimes not even then!

For seven years, "BURSA" has been writing about the destruction of Romania"s forests - but the authorities have yet to lift a finger.

A very nice and wise man - Garda Deszo has been fighting the logging mafia of the county of Harghita for years, trying to get convictions, and haggling with the police, trying to get it to act on the rulings; now he is fighting the bureaucracy in the Parliament, who watches indifferently his harassment by the local justice (he is now being punished for his fight against the theft of wood when he was a deputy and he had immunity).

There is no reaction whatsoever from the authorities.

But it is rather normal, because the authorities are part of the timber mafia themselves.

And Garda Deszo fought against the theft in which the authorities participated themselves or were at the very least complicit in.

That is why, after the assassination attempt on Pal Emeric (which was reported in yesterday"s edition of "BURSA") the brave colleague of Garda Deszo, we don"t expect the authorities to do anything against the mobsters.

We are, however concerned about the security of the two and we want to get them under the protection of the public.

A lot of strength and courage to fight the forest mafia.

It"s revolting what we have come to... it"s absolutely outrageous that you can be killed in cold blood for demanding your rights which should be guaranteed by the Constitution.

4. We still have decent people in this country!

There are still decent people, even after the so-called "transition" which is nothing else but getting our population hooked on cheap South American soap operas, crap music and sensationalist "news". If they resisted morally, they need to be physically eliminated, by killing them. Because people unaltered by subculture will fight theft and corruption. This is how this assassination attempt can be explained.

Please receive all my best regards Mr. Pal. You are one of the few people who find it worth fighting for justice and normalcy in this country. May God watch over you and give you strength. We expect the authorities at least defend this man, if not support him in his fight for justice.
