Developer Adama and German discount retailer Plus signed a collaboration agreement for the construction of a second supermarket in Cluj. David Flusberg, cofounder and chairman of Adama, said: "We have long term plans for Romania, our priorities haven"t changed. We will continue to bring valuable residential units on the market, and we will continue to provide our customers with the facilities, environment and lifestyle that they are used to receive from us. We are convinced that our partnership with Plus will help us bring additional value to our customers in Cluj and we also plan to extend this cooperation to Braşov, Bucharest and all the major towns in Romania"".
According to a press release sent to our editors, Norbert Missbrandt, CEO of Plus Romania, said that the store which is the object of the agreement is the second store that the company will open in Cluj, and that this partnership is part of the company"s plan to expand nationwide, in all cities with more than 15,000 inhabitants. The new Plus store will open on the Bună Ziua Street and will have a total surface of 1,400 sqm.
Adama Management is an active real estate developer which is present in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Turkey. The company currently has some 45 residential and commercial projects under development, spanning millions of square meters, which are currently in various stages of planning and execution. By end-2008, Adama had delivered hundreds of apartments. By end-2009, the company will complete an additional 500 residential units.
