Car parts manufacturer Altur - Slatina (BSE:ALT) posted a net profit of 915,500 RON (273,000 EUR) for 2007:Q3, compared to losses of 611,400 RON in 2006:Q3, whereas the turnover decreased 2.74% to 22.7 million RON (6.76 million EUR) from 23.33 million RON. Nine months through 2007, Altur lowered losses by 13.93% to 1.73 million RON from 2.01 million RON.
For the first 9 months of the year, Altur logged revenues of 75.84 million RON (+3.02%) and expenses of 77.57 million RON (+2.57%). Estimates for this year point to a gross profit of 800,000 RON, up from losses of 4.24 million RON in 2006.
The company is considering increasing share capital by 107.45 million RON to 161.18 million RON. Shareholders registered as such by November 12th will be able to subscribe two new shares for every existing share. At the moment, Altur has a share capital of 53.73 million RON. The leading shareholders are Mecanica Rotes (METY) with 29.33%, Celule Electrice SA (CLEL) with 10.25% and Revan Com with 6.89%.
