Another 17 Foreign Financial Institutions Want to Operate in Romania

Seventeen financial groups announced NBR their intent to operate on the Romanian market, according to the NBR website. These institutions are: ABN Amro Bank N.V (the Netherlands), CIT Bank Limited (Great Britain), Compagnie Generale D"Affacturage - C.G.A (France), Credit Suisse International (Great Britain), Danske Bank A/S (Denmark), Elavon Financial Services Limited (Ireland), Euler Hermes Sfac Credit (France), FirePay UK Ltd (Great Britain), Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank AG (Austria), ING Bank N.V. (the Netherlands), K&H Bank Nyrt (Hungary), Kommunalkredit International Bank Ltd (Cyprus), LGT Bank in Liechtenstein AG (Liechtenstein), LRP Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz (Germany), MKB Bank Nyrt. (Hungary), OTP Bank Nyrt (Hungary) and Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG (Austria).

On February 28th, NBR presented a list containing other 26 international financial instiutions that had announced theit intent to enter the Romanian market.
