Bank Austria Creditanstalt sold 1.28% in the IT&C and appliances retailer Flamingo International SA (FLA) for 3.7 million RON (1.11 million EUR) according to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) quoted by NewsIn. BACA sold 10 million shares for 0.37 RON/share thus lowering their stake in Flamingo to 10.4%.
In early April, BACA sold 2.12% (16.5 million shares) in Flamingo for 6.1 million RON. Earlier, in March, BACA sold 15.84 million shares (2%) for 10.64 million RON (3.2 million EUR). Flamingo International SA concluded last year with losses of 12.9 million RON following the consolidation of the group after the acquisition of another retailer, Flanco.
The Y2005 profit was 8 million RON. The turnover lost 6.3% to 193.7 million RON, from 206.8 million RON. The company has a share capital of 77.9 million RON divided into 779 million shares with a face value of 0.1 RON.
