The net profit reported by Suceava-based beer producer Bermas SA is up 25,84% compared to 2005, reaching 4.487.877 RON in 2006, according to preliminary reports. Elena Anisoi, the company"s chief accountant, believes that results for the last year are very good. She mentioned that Bermas SA has investment plans for 2007 and it intends to continue developing the beer brand it produces.
The company reported net revenues of 25.823.769 RON, down -18,74% compared to the previous year, while total expenses reached 24.187.039 RON.
Last year, the company increased its share capital to 12.178.416 RON by the issuing shares and using profirt reserve from 2004. The share capital is divided into 17.397.737 shares with a face value of 0,7 RON/share.
Bermas shares are listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the symbol BRM. In 2006, share price dropped 16,41% and since the beginning of this year the shares gained 6,13%, reaching an average price of 1,73 RON/share.
