HCR Sfântu Gheorghe will invest 5 million Euros in Râşnov (county of Braşov) for the creation of a theme park centered around dinosaurs. The project has already received the Town Planning Certificate, with the project to be built on the plateau near Râşnov, one kilometer away from the Castle of Râşnov, and will span four hectares.
The park will feature 80 dinosaurs, of which 20 in life size. "The park will also feature 60 accomodation spots hanging in trees, a show room, a conference room, and a room for the projection of themed movies", said the Mayor of Râşnov, Adrian Veştea.
Works on the park will begin in Spring 2010 and are estimated to last approximately 18 months.

A company of the county of Braşov has asked for a permit from the Mayoralty of Râşnov for building a an "Aventura" theme park (adventure-based theme park). It will also be built on the plateau, with a surface of one hectare, and will cost an estimated two million Euros.
A third theme park will be built in the trampoline area. "It will feature several bob sleighs that will also be available in the summertime. Their maximum speed will not exceed 60 km/h, and I can"t discuss how much the investment will cost, because it currently is just a project of a company in Sovata which has a German partner", Veştea said.
