Electrical and electronic equipment manufacturer Electromagnetica Bucharest posted 8,89 million RON in net profit (2,63 million EUR) for last year, up 3,2 times compared to the previous year, according to company officials, quoted by NewsIn. The company"s turnover almost doubled in 2006, increasing by 87%, to 205,4 million RON (60,74 million EUR), compared to 2005, when the company posted 109,73 million RON in turnover.
Electromagnetica has a share capital of 33,8 million RON (10 million EUR), divided into 146,96 million shares with a face value of 0,23 RON. The significant shareholders are the employees association (49,13%) and SIF Oltenia (10,11%). Electromagnetica shares are listed on the first tier of Rasdaq as ELMA.
