This sentence is essential in construing what is happening in connection to the DNA.

This is a recent sentence.

Had it not appeared, then all of the arrests made by the DNA would have represented a political agenda.

Thus, when the DNA arrested Elena Udrea, we could have thought it was Voiculescu's revenge, the arrest of Vâlcov could represent the preparations of the PNL for taking over the government, where Şova's arrest would be nothing but a small flick.

The possible arrest of Vasile Blaga in the long awaited EADS case could be the revenge of Traian Băsescu through chief-prosecutor Laura Codruţa Kovesi.

The arrest of Horia Georgescu, the feared head of the National Integrity Agency, would be some sort of revenge of Klaus Iohannis, who has been kept with his sword over his head for years, including in the electoral campaign.

Mircea Geoană, another important prey for the DNA, was denounced last week by Viorel Hrebenciuc, who accused him of knowing how the presidential campaign gets funded and that the former had sent Hrebenciuc to Ioan Niculae to ask him to contribute.

It seems that Hrebenciuc is siding with Victor Ponta, to save his hide and get off easily with house arrest.

We don't know yet who wanted to put Hrebenciuc away. Maybe Traian Băsescu?

Ponta separated Vanghelie from the PNL, where he was bringing in proselytes dislodged from the PSD, and Oana Mizil shook her head before the journalists and said: "Victor, Victor!" (without making any mention of the DNA!)...

As a result, it's not Victor Ponta that's putting Vanghelie in jail to keep his backing within the party, it's not Voiculescu's party that is painting Elena Udrea's cell in pink, it's not the PNL that is putting Vâlcov and Şova in the slammer, it's not Traian Băsescu that is executing Blaga for disobedience, it's not Klaus Iohannis that is putting Horia Georgescu in his place, it's not Hrebenciuc that denounces Geoană at the National Anticorruption Department.

If the judicial system is independent, then all these arrests are just the result of the DNA doing justice.

The wave of arrests started by the DNA brings with it the noise of rumors about an imminent arrest of deputy NBR governor Bogdan Olteanu.

Congratulations, Mr. Traian Băsescu for this achievement!

But how in the hell did you only wake up now Mr. Băsescu, to tell us that there arrests are being executed according to a political agenda! (that is not an exclamation, it is meant to show surprise).
