Faur Bucharest concluded last year with a profit of 3,30 million RON, according to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. 5% of the company"s Y2006 profit will be used as legal reserve, while the rest of the money will be used to cover the company"s losses in the previous years.
Faur has a share capital of 37,6 million RON and is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company is part of the Bega Group, which comprises 29 firms. Faur was acquired from the state at the end of 2003 by a consortium consisting of Laminate Bucharest, Relco Bucharest, Astra Romana Ploiesti Refinery and Begacom Bucharest in a transaction worth 3,5 million EUR.
