EnglishThe Legal Commission of the Chamber of Deputies has rejected the proposal submitted by the deputy of the National Liberal Party (PNL), Tudor Chiuariu, for the amendment of the four Codes of Law (the Criminal Code, the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Civil Code, and the Code of Civil Procedure), claiming that these amendments would cause legislative instability.
The Liberal deputy explained that a "unitary approach" is needed for the Codes, whose drafts are being debated in the Parliament and has proposed "a wider political agreement", by which all the legislative proposals looking to amend the Codes be rejected.
