At the end of 2007, the company reported a turnover of 472.68 million RON (130.9 million EUR), by 11.27% more than in the previous year, when the company landed 424.8 million RON. Revenues gained 10.5% to 507.07 million RON (140.45 million EUR), compared to 458.8 million RON in 2006. Expenses gained 9.81% to 538.33 million RON (149.1 million EUR), compared to 486.6 million RON in 2006. At the end of last year, Mechel had debts of 147.9 million RON.
The company has a share capital of 240.26 million RON (65.7 million EUR) divided into 41.4 million shares with a face value of 5.8 RON. The majority shareholder is Mechel International Holdings with 86.56%. SIF1 Banat Crisana holds 11.12%.
