COSMOTE Romania continues the series of aggressive moves designed to expand the company"s grip on the business and corporate segments of the mobile telephony market with the recent introduction of "My E-Mail," a mobile email service enabling business-oriented customers to access their professional email account remotely. Users are able to send and receive emails, access the MS Outlook calendar and contact list, access the global address book of the company or schedule meetings.
"The business segment has been one of our priorities in 2008 and the results of our concentrated work are reflected by the increase in the corporate customer base. In the following year, we will continue to make aggressive proposals also to the business segment," said Stefanos Theocharopoulos, CEO of COSMOTE Romania.
The mobile email service is available in three plans, built on the communication needs of both small- and medium-sized companies and corporate customers. The standard plans include between 5 and 20 MB of data traffic for the most affordable prices on the market, starting from 5 EUR/month. Additional traffic is charged between 0.30 EUR and 0.80 EUR/MB, depending on the plan.
The new email service is compatible on a range of last generation mobile terminals, such as Nokia E71, Nokia E66, Samsung HTC Diamond, Samsung I780, Samsung Omnia, HTC Titan II and HTC S740. The terminal portfolio will be updated according to market demand.
