"NewYorker", the German youth fashion brand, yesterday opened its sixth Romanian store. The new store, located in the "European Retail Park - Promenada Mall" commercial center of Brăila, has an area of over 750 square meters for displaying its collections.
Mihai Şindrilaru, the manager of the "NewYorker" retail chain, issued the following press release: "We are excited to see our Romanian retail network add another outlet store. This proves that Romania is ripe for investments, a powerful enough reason for us to continue our expansion in as many areas of the country as possible. To further prove our interest in expanding, we are going to open our first Bucharest store in less than a month", he said.
New Yorker officials say that whether one is looking for casual, trendy or sports clothing, "NewYorker""s Romanian stores offer varied styles of clothing, targeted mainly at youth between 12 and 35 years old, but also at other age categories.
"NewYorker" already operates six stores in Romania, in Sibiu, Cluj, Târgu-Mureş, Bacău, Oradea and Brăila, and the company"s plans for expansion will continue in 2009, with new stores in other cities across Romania.
