Port operator Oil Terminal SA Constanta concluded sevices and shipment contracts totaling 20,5 million RON (6,16 million EUR) with Petrom SA Bucharest, according to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, quoted by NewsIn. The contracts are worth 20 million RON and respectively 0,5 million RON and are valid from April 1st 2007 until end-March 2008.
Oil Terminal concluded 2006 with a net profit of 2,28 million RON (over 600,000 EUR), over 2,5 times lower compared to the previous year, according to a preliminary financial report sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company posted 121,5 million RON in turnover, down 5% from 2005, when Oil Terminal reported a turnover 128 million RON.
Oil Terminal is listed on the second tier of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as OIL and has a share capital of 58,24 million RON. The majority shareholder is the Ministry of Industry and Resources with 61,39% in the company, followed by Broadhurst Investments Ltd. with 11,66%.
