Craiova-based financial investment company Oltenia din Craiova (BVB - SIF5) bought 3 million shares in Petrom Bucharest (SNP) at 0,5842 RON/share on March 2nd. The total value of the transaction amounted to 1.752.500 RON.
SNP shares opened the Friday session at 0,59 RON/share and reached a high of 0,595 RON/share, closing at 0,575 RON/share. Over 7,6 million SNP shares were transfered, totalling 4,46 million RON.
Petrom shares are listed on Tier I of BVB as of September 3rd 2001. The oil company has a share capital of 5,66 billion RON, divided into shares with a face value of 0,1 RON. The main shareholders in Petrom are OMV Aktiengesellschaft-Austria, holding 51,01% in the company and The Authority for State Assets Recovery, with 30,86%.
