Shareholders in refinery Steaua Romana SA (STRO) have decided to increase the company"s share capital by 49,66 million RON (14,64 million EUR). The share capital increase from 4,14 million RON to 53,8 million RON will be done from the company"s 2005 year-end proved reserves. The company will issue 496,6 million shares, with a face value of 0,1 RON, which will be distributed to shareholders starting March 26th. The majority shareholder is Omnimpex Chemicals SA, holding 82,45% in the company, while SIF Muntenia (SIF4) controls 5,69%.
