EnglishThe Group, the leading independent advertising holding in Romania, which controls, among others, Media Investment, has bought 50% in interactive communication agency New Media Agency SRL for an undisclosed price, according to The Group CEO Zoltan Szigeti, who is also the founder and a major shareholder in The Group. The remaining 50% is split equally between New Media Agency founders Alin Zainescu and Ciprian Stavar.
"Having interactive media operations is no longer a nice-to-have, but a serious must-have in the industry. This is why we bought the majority stake in New Media," Szigeti said. The Group includes the companies Media Investment (media communication), Nicola Porter Novelli (PR), House of Media (media communication), Touch Communication (direct marketing), Q Research, and BT Production Group (advertising production).
