ThyssenKrupp Plans Regional Expansion

By the end of this year, German company ThyssenKrupp will expand to two further regions of Romania, besides Bucharest, by opening a regional office in Cluj, which will be followed later this year by a regional office for Moldova, most likely to be opened in Iasi. Along with the expansion of sales networks, the company plans to invest in a factory that will be built near the Romanian-Hungarian border.

The German company is known in Romania for its products destined especially for large construction projects, industrial and commercial buildings. In 2006, the Romanian subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp posted 4,8 million EUR in turnover, up100% yoy.
