• Already president
Călin Georgescu already considers himself the president of Romania, so when, in a scene on TikTok, his wife (Cristela) asks him in the living room, "Are you stopping special pensions?", he answers "Absolutely!", and when she insists "So, are you eliminating them?", he answers "Totally eliminating them. Absolutely. Of course."
He brings up a discussion from Erebor, in the hut of some dwarves from Durin's Tribe.
Călin Georgescu seems to be running for the position of Thorin Oakenshield, king in an absolute monarchy, who - "Absolutely!" - eliminates special pensions.
Mrs. Cristela gives signs that she believes him, but, in fact, Mr. Călin is deceiving her: he is not running in Erebor, but in Romania, which is a semi-presidential republic.
• Constitutional limitations
Special pensions cannot be "Totally eliminated. Absolutely. Certainly" as Călin wants, but as a result of initiating a bill (because we, Romanians, are not the Dwarves Under the Mountain).
But, according to the Romanian Constitution, the President cannot initiate any bill.
Only the Parliament or the Government.
And, by the way, this is where all the classic adventures of adopting a law up to the Constitutional Court begin, adventures whose hero is by no means the president.
He can only influence the political environment, to overcome legislative obstacles, but he cannot eliminate special pensions, "Absolutely. Certainly", as Georgescu boasts to his wife.
• The president's influence
The influence would be more decisive if the Parliament and the Government were under sovereignist domination, or weaker, to the point of not being decisive at all, if they were not sovereignist and isolated him at Cotroceni, like a foreign body.
So, what else should Cristela believe?
Can we discern between incompetence, insincerity and terror?
Şoşoacă lied outright
Călin Georgescu is not president for now, but a candidate.
Şoşoacă lied outright when he claimed that two million votes were annulled in the first round.
In reality, the BEC announced the annulment of 223,132 votes.
Şoşoacă added another zero to the queue.
This reduces the electoral potential of the sovereignists by two-fifths, it no longer guarantees them a majority in Parliament, nor the success of Călin Georgescu in the second round, for which Diana Şoşoacă and George Simion have formed a coalition to support him.
PSD, PNL and Elena Lasconi
Bad news for the sovereignists (but self-evident) came from the liberals, that they will support Elena Lasconi.
The PSD is not making a statement until after Sunday's elections, as it would diminish its parliamentary score (for a voter to like Lasconi, they would need an educated taste, as in the case of Roquefort cheese).
However, it is very likely that it will support it, nevertheless.
Mobilization on this electoral front is precarious, marked by disarray, but the "ostrich-camel" may rediscover its common interests.
Suspicions related to TikTok
On the other hand, a series of suspicions have emerged regarding the legality of using TikTok for electoral purposes.
The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) has asked the European Commission to investigate the role of TikTok, after the platform allegedly allowed electoral campaigns that violated the company's declared standards.
• Băsescu criticizes the artifice of Georgescu's rise
Traian Băsescu accused, in a television interview, that we are about to install as president, a person - Călin Georgescu - whom the electorate does not know, except as an image manufactured by artificial intelligence.
The truth is that Georgescu does not interact, he is never live during his hundreds of appearances on TikTok; in his interviews he comes with prefabricated speeches and refuses dialogue; after winning the first round of the presidential elections, he refused journalists' questions, under the ridiculous pretext (it was intended to be ironic, probably) that journalists know all the answers in advance.
Băsescu says that Georgescu is hiding his true face, and that the face he turns towards us is produced by artificial intelligence.
• My opinion about Georgeşti
In my opinion, Călin Georgeşti is uneducated, does not own the terms he uses, and in matters of religious exegesis he is an impostor (the opinion is based on the examinations I have subjected him to in the articles about him, published since the spring of this year).
Read "Mom, look, a fairy!
My impression is reinforced by a cascade of pearls that he has dropped in various TikTok clips:
However, the cuckoos flutter around the living room in Erebor: Cristela seems to be a nutritionist (she talks to us about energies and vibrations, which Călin Georgescu is not lacking either) she tells us that, emotionally, potatoes give us stability and block those toxic emotions that sabotage our success in life; cauliflower helps us when we are confused; green parsley, etc.
This is, in fact, the intellectual level in the family.
This is what you see when you lift the tarpaulin of "shaved intellectual" with which the Georgeşti have covered themselves; energies, vibrations, H2O, nonsense.
• More militiamen on the streets
Klaus Iohannis, has called a meeting of the Supreme Council for National Defense for today, to "analyze possible risks to national security generated by the actions of state and non-state cyber actors on IT&C infrastructures, supporting the electoral process".
They will analyze the energies and vibrations on TikTok.
According to information available on the Constitutional Court website, a request to cancel the first round of the presidential elections was filed by Sebastian Constantin Popescu.
Another request to cancel the presidential elections - the first round - was filed by Cristian Vasile Terheş.
There are rumors that street fights are coming.
More militiamen than usual are walking arm in arm in public places.
We have to eat our cauliflower, let's not fall into confusion.
