The Ministry of Transports has agreed with the CEO of Tarom, Christian Heinzmann, for him to stay on as a CEO purely for reasons of public perception, said Dan Pascariu, the former chairman of the Board of Directors, and he stressed that the representatives of the Ministry of Transports are aware of Heinzmann's "flaws".

According to Mr. Pascariu, the ambassadors of Holland, Belgium, and Great Britain in Romania have had meetings with the former members of the Board of Directors of Tarom, and the former pressured them into extending the term of Christian Heinzmann.
