The aeronautical company Aerostar Bacău (ARS) wants to distribute the amount of almost 32 million lei to its shareholders as dividends, according to the issuer's report published on Friday on the website of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
The company's board of directors convened the shareholders in this regard on April 18, the proposed unitary dividend being 0.21 lei. Compared to the price of the ARS share on Friday at 16:00, of 9.35 lei, the dividend yield amounts to 2.2%.
The registration date, which defines the investors who will benefit from dividends if the proposal receives a shareholder vote, is May 8, with payments to be made starting May 30.
For last year, the company reported a preliminary net profit of 93 million lei, 3% above that of 2022, while operating revenues amounted to 533.1 million lei, up 12.5% compared to from those of the previous year. In mid-January, Aerostar and Lockheed Martin, a global security and aerospace company, announced the inauguration of the first certified maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service center for the S-70 Black Hawk helicopter in Bacău.
Aerostar Bacău, an issuer whose stock market valuation amounts to approximately 1.4 billion lei, is 71.5% owned by Iarom Bucharest, while Evergent Investments had 15.2% of the company.
