Principal Company estimates that sales of "Matache Macelaru" charcuterie products will account for 30-35% of the turnover this year. Last year"s turnover amounted to 20 million EUR, whereas estimates for this year point to a two-fold increase.
"Plans are to sell some 5,000 tons of the newly introduced Matache Macelaru" premium charcuterie products. That would be about 30-35% of our turnover. We are also counting on the recently started advertising campaign," said Brand Manager Radu Dumitrescu.
The Matache Macelaru" product range comprises 30 charcuterie products and was inspired by a merchant by the same name who was quite famous in Romania between the two World Wars. Principal Company also owns the charcuterie brands Principal and Salonta.
