Romania"s travel agencies" association ANAT concluded Y2007 with a turnover of 4.45 billion RON (1.25 billion EUR), according to ANAT President Dragos Atanasiu. "According to the Trade Registry, the 700 members of ANAT concluded last year with an aggregated turnover of 4.45 billion RON (1.25 billion EUR). We don"t know what the turnover was in 2006, because we only started logging it in the end of 2007. Atanasiu pointed out that Romania"s tourism industry was booming, with a growth rate of 15-25%, compared to 2-3% in other countries.
