Poultry meat producer SC Avicola SA reported a net profit of 485,730 RON for the first quarter of the current fiscal year. Turnover amounted to 9.194 million RON, while operating revenue totalled 20.348 million RON. Operating expenses amounted to 19.879 million RON in the first three months.
In the same period last year, the company posted a total revenue of 19.949 million RON and expenses of 19.447 million RON, while gross profit amounted to 471,502 RON.
For this year, the company projects a turnover of 42.6 million RON and revenue of 52.4 million RON, while gross profit should total 5 million RON.
The majority shareholder is George Becali, with 68.09% in Avicola, followed by the Authority for State Assets Recovery (AVAS), with 20.47% and SIF Moldova with 7.22%.
