Shareholders in the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) last week approved a 14,59 million RON increase in share capital, the amount representing Y2006 net earnings, after the company set aside legal reserves, according to NewsIn.
Presently, BSE has a share capital of 34.844.300 RON. Following the capital increase, the company"s share capital will amount to 49,439 million RON. BSE will issue 1.431.925 ordinary shares and 27.554 preferred shares with a face value of 10 RON/share.
In 2006, BSE tripled its net profit, which rose to 15,5 million RON (4,5 million EUR), surpassing estimates by 63%. Overall revenues amounted to 33,43 million RON, compared with 14,48 million RON in 2005. The company has 84 shareholders, most of them brokerage firms.
