EnglishEuropa Star Service SRL has inaugurated a modern bakery that will market its products under the brand "Bunatarie" (approx. Baking Goodies). "The overall investment in Bunatarie stands at 780,000 EUR, in both the production line and the retail line. We expect this investment to be recovered in approximately seven years. Our estimates for 2010 include a turnover in excess of 1 million EUR," said Europa Star Service Director Augustin Manescu.
The investment was financed 60 per cent from the company"s own funds, and 40 per cent from European structural funds. According to a press release to BURSA, the 60 per cent provided by Europa Star Service came half from the company"s equity and half from bank loans.
The newly started bakery will produce bread and bread specialties, cake, pasta, pretzels and rolls. A pastry line will be added as of 2010. The Bunataria bakery itself and the retail unit are located in Adunatii Copaceni, only 20 kilometres from the centre of Bucharest.
By starting the Bunataria bakery, Europa Star Service now has a full production chain that comprises wheat farming, wheat milling and, finally, baking, thus ensuring complete control over the quality of the products. The bakery will supply the proprietary store nearby, as well as other stores in Giurgiu, Bucharest and Ilfov. The company"s expansion plans for 2010 include the opening of approximately 5 stores in the aforementioned areas. Such stores will be opened using Europa Star Service equity.
