Damrosch Trading Ltd. holds 9.48% in Bucharest-based insurer Asirom, according to the latest reports to RASDAQ quoted by NewsIn. QVT Fund sold their 12.8% stake for 69.47 million RON (21 million EUR) on June 14th. Tarkul Estates Ltd. reported possession of 5.39% on May 29th.
Broadhurst Investments Ltd. on May 18th sold 91.35 million Asirom shares (14.32%) for 58.46 million RON (17.9 million EUR) whereas Waterwe Ventures Ltd bought 9.5% (60,900,000 shares) for 38.97 million RON (11.95 million EUR).
Asirom was established in 1991 as a result of the privatization of the State Insurance Administration, which split into Asirom and Astra. The company has a share capital of 63.78 million RON divided into 637.8 million shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. Last year"s gross profit was 14 million RON.
